Dr Anna Fagan

Dr Fagan holds a PhD in Archaeology and Anthropology (University of Melbourne) and is the founder, principal and director of Fagan Heritage Pty Ltd.

Dr Fagan is a determined, high performing, eloquent, earnest, and influential cultural heritage expert, human rights and environmental advocate, and senior management executive. She is also a kind and effective communicator and an unswerving negotiator.

She has extensive experience working with numerous State, National and International cultural heritage, environmental, and human rights regulatory frameworks. She has clear and demonstrated success delivering and securing significant socio-economic outcomes and benefits, major and multi-decade funding agreements, commercial and heritage agreements, research grants, and sustainable business development opportunities for Aboriginal Corporations and Communities.

Her advocacy efforts have been focused on upholding Aboriginal values, voices, socio-economic aspirations, self-determination, natural resource management objectives, and cultural safety. This has involved:
